Ramadan Iftar Meals Tender Open For Two Holy Mosques Suppliers
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has invited qualified companies and factories to apply to provide Iftar meals during Ramadan 1447 AH, aiming to regulate Iftar services and raise meal quality for worshippers at the two holy mosques.
The authority stated that participation is limited to establishments already able to provide organised Iftar services inside the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, with applicants required to demonstrate full compliance with regulatory, health and operational standards before approval for Ramadan 1447 AH.

Applicants must hold a valid commercial registration and a current municipal licence, or a licence from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority for an operating site in Makkah or Madinah. Each establishment also needs an active operating location in one of the two cities, supported by documented proof of ownership or a notarised lease contract.
The authority stressed that participating companies and factories must meet approved food safety standards, maintain a clean public health record, and strictly follow meal specifications issued by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority. Each establishment must also be able to supply at least 10,000 Iftar meals per day throughout Ramadan 1447 AH.
Document submission for Iftar participation will continue until Rajab 10, 1447 AH, through the authority’s dedicated electronic portal. The General Authority urged interested entities to review all conditions carefully and complete every required document within the stated period, noting that the announcement was published through the Saudi Press Agency at 12:37 local time.
